I created a Quality-of-life enhancement for developers to be able to quickly “Copy Field Name”, “Copy Field Value”, or “Copy Field Display Value” any list field to their clipboard for later use.
This has nothing to do with my usual ServiceNow stuff but it does pertain to EarlDuque.com anyways!

Script Includes in ServiceNow, in a very simplistic explanation, is a server side script that can be called from other server scripts, making them great for re-usability.
Client callable script includes in ServiceNow are typically combined with an ServiceNow API method called GlideAjax. It’s a method that handles the actual AJAX part of your script that sends and receives data between the client and the server.
Often, it’s easier to think of these things separately, but for ease of use, there’s often times we’d want to combine them.

This small application will automatically generate a random string of words to be used for easy to recite/remember passwords.
Example of result: ConditionQuicklyFloorVoice.
Example of when to use: A presenter displays the password “SmallChallengeRiseInterview” on screen for the audience to see, the audience then goes onto their device, navigates to the input page and types in “SmallChallengeRiseInterview” to be given access to the record.
With an idea from our analyst, Robert Weibezahl, I was able to make it so that users with catalog access are now able to update notifications on the fly without having full access to the notifications table
